Chief Executive Officer: Sean Blakeley

Sean is the Chief Executive Officer of the BCCK. For the past seven years, he has helped to promote British business in the country and supported multiple western firms to partner with and sell into major Korean conglomerates. A 12-year resident of Korea, Sean was the director of business development with a Korean publishing company and was managing director of a British management consulting company prior to joining the Chamber in 2015.

Sean has worked with British companies across a broad range of sectors including electronics, retail, consumer goods, and F&B. Sean completed a master’s program at Seoul National University and speaks Korean fluently. LinkedIn

Trade & Policy

Eunha Kim

Senior Manager

Eunha is a Senior Manager at the Trade & Policy Team of the BCCK. In this role, Eunha works in conjunction with the Market Access Committee of the BCCK to oversee the research and implementation of the Chamber’s advocacy strategies on behalf of its members. Prior to joining the BCCK, Eunha worked at Goldman Sachs in the United States, Japan and Hong Kong as an intelligence analyst. Eunha holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in International Relations from Georgetown University and Johns Hopkins University respectively.

Sungji Moon

Manager

Sungji is a Manager at the BCCK’s Trade & Policy Team. Prior to joining the BCCK, Sungji worked at an India-based NGO supporting their applications for funding, conducted market research on Middle Eastern markets at TNS Korea, and provided support to students as an educational consultant. Sungji received his bachelor’s degree from University College London (UCL) in the United Kingdom.

Bokyeong Kim

Coordinator

Bokyeong is a Coordinator at the Trade & Policy Team of the BCCK. Bokyeong works to promote British trade, commerce and investment into Korean market and encourage business relationships between Korean and British companies. Bokyeong holds a bachelor’s degree from Ewha Womans University in English Literature and Business Management and a master’s degree in International Public Policy and Management from the University of Southern California in the U.S.A. Prior to joining the BCCK, Bokyeong worked at the Australian Embassy in Korea as a Public Information Manager within the Public Diplomacy Sector.

Heelim Seo

Coordinator

Heelim is a coordinator at the Trade & Policy Team of the BCCK. In this role, Heelim works on policy-related matters and conducts research on behalf of BCCK subcommittees. She holds bachelor’s degree in International Studies from Ewha Womans University. Prior to joining the BCCK, she worked at Kim & Chang Law Firm as a paralegal and an analyst.

Yun Hyung Jung

Coordinator

Yun Hyung is a Coordinator in the Trade & Policy Team of the BCCK. He focuses on supporting British companies seeking to develop market opportunities in Korea; he covers a variety of industries from that of consumer goods, retail, F&B to technology and energy. Prior to joining the Chamber, Yun Hyung worked as part of the Asia Facilitation Team within a marketing and consulting company, helping Korean energy companies to export their products in South East Asia. Yun Hyung holds a bachelor’s degree in Apparel Merchandising and Marketing from Indiana University Bloomington in the United States.

Ellie Hyun Kyung Lee

Coordinator

Ellie Hyun Kyung is a Trade Coordinator in the Trade & Policy Team of the BCCK. She works to promote trade between the UK and Korea by helping British companies enter the Korean market. Previously, she worked at Metanet Global (former Accenture Korea) providing market research in retail and digital marketing. She also was an interpreter for UBS and an English announcer for a variety of international competitions. Ellie holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and brain-mind-behavior from Seoul National University, Korea.

Yeji Park

Coordinator

Yeji is a coordinator at the Trade & Policy Team of the BCCK. In this role, Yeji works on policy-related matters and conducts research on behalf of BCCK subcommittees. She holds bachelor’s degree in International Studies and English from Hankuk University of Foreign Studies (HUFS). Prior to joining the BCCK, she worked at the Permanent Mission of the ROK to the UN and GlaxoSmithKilne(GSK) assisting the UN General Assembly Fifth Committee (Administrative and Budgetary Committee) and vaccine marketing team.

Jayden Cho

Events & Marketing Senior Manager

Jayden is a Senior Manager in the BCCK’s Events Team. Prior to joining the Chamber, he worked in the hospitality industry for the Hyatt  International Corporation and Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, specialising in the area of F&B and event services. Jayden holds a bachelor’s degree (honours) in Business Administration in Hospitality Management from the Glion Institute of Higher Education, Switzerland as well as a bachelor’s degree in Architecture from the University of Nottingham, England. Jungmin Son

Planning & Marketing Manager

Jungmin is the BCCK’s Planning & Marketing Manager. Jungmin holds a bachelor’s degree from Anyang University in digital media design. Prior to joining the BCCK, Jungmin worked as a graphic journalist at Yonhap News, where she worked with the Rio Olympics and specialized in the design of infographics. At the BCCK, she supports the planning and marketing of events at the BCCK, from our networking events to content-driven functions. Jungmin is also responsible for designing the Chamber’s event and advertising flyers, including the BCCK media kit. While at the BCCK, she has worked with various companies including the Grand Hyatt Seoul, Alitalia, Neal’s Yard Remedies and SABMillerLinkedIn

Warren Mitty

Business Development Manager

Warren is the BCCK’s Business Development Manager. Prior to joining the BCCK, Warren worked as a Engineering Project Manager in Seoul and has worked as an engineer in the United Kingdom, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Macau, specialising in large multibillion-dollar projects. He also has experience working with NGO’s in both Tanzania and Kenya. Warren received his bachelor’s degree from Loughborough University in the United Kingdom and is currently studying a Master of Business Administration at Sungkyunkwan University.

Effie Hyemin Kim

Relations Manager

Effie Hyemin is the BCCK’s Member Relations Manager. Hyemin holds a bachelor’s degree of Arts in International Studies from the University of Canberra, Australia. Prior to joining the BCCK, Hyemin worked at the Cheil Worldwide Headquarters as an Administrative Manager and Executive Assistant in the Global Department. Prior to Cheil, Hyemin also worked in the MICE field as a professional convention organizer; directing and providing support to international forum and global conferences.  LinkedIn

Rachel Yi

Accounting & Administration Manager

Rachel is the BCCK’s Accounting & Administration Manager. Rachel holds a bachelor’s degree from Seoul Women’s University. Prior to joining the organisation, Rachel worked as an office manager at M-Biz Global’s Korean Office, a provider of mobile game solutions based in Luzern, Switzerland. At the BCCK, she supports all the accounting and administrative work of the Chamber including the management of documentation to support HR functions and office management.

Jeongeun Yoo

Marketing & Communications Manager

Jeongeun holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Hospitality Management from Sejong University. Prior to joining the BCCK, she worked as a Marketing Manager in a number of Korean government agencies; including the Korea Tourism Organization and Jeju Tourism Organization. At the BCCK, she supports the Chamber’s Marketing and Communications related activities, including the Chamber’s online and offline communication platforms.
